SAC

School Advisory Councils consist of teachers, support staff, parents, and community members who reflect the ethnic, racial, and economic community served by the school. The Florida Legislature created SACs to ensure the continuous progress of Florida’s education goals in each school. The purpose of the Council is to develop, monitor, and evaluate results for school improvement. The SAC reviews items such as our reading strategies, test scores, parent survey results, absenteeism, behavior and discipline, and any other issue involving the school and school improvement.

The Dale R. Fair Babson Park Elementary SAC meets at 8:00 a.m. 2024-2025 SAC meeting dates are September 13, October 11, November 15, January 24, February 21, and April 11.

Observers are welcome at all SAC meetings. If a non-SAC person would like to address the SAC, a written request to the Principal, Mrs. Tyler, and SAC Chair, Mrs. Moss, is required seven days before a meeting.
