SAC

The School Advisory Council consists of teachers, support staff, parents, and community members who reflect the ethnic, racial, and economic community served by the school. SACs were created by the Florida Legislature to ensure the continuous progress of Florida’s education goals in each school. The council's purpose is to develop, monitor, and evaluate results for school improvement. The SAC reviews items such as the school finances, our Culyer reading program, test scores, parent survey results, behavior and discipline, and any other issues involving the school and school improvement.

Observers are welcome at all SAC Meetings. If a non-SAC member would like to address the SAC, a written request to Mrs. Tyler and Mrs. Moss (chairperson) seven days prior to the meeting is required.

The Dale R. Fair Babson Park Elementary SAC meets eight times a year at 7:30 in the morning, and attendance is required. The 2022-2023 school year meeting dates are as follows: September 16th, October 14th, November 18th, December 9th, January 13th, February 10th, March 24th, and April 21st.
